#you know the thing about this is #that people are saying rory is gross for saying that and i do see where they’re coming from #but sometimes i think people forget that rory is human and by that i mean HE HAS HUMAN FEELINGS #we know that rory fancied amy for years before she even looked at him #in MY opinion (MY opinion im not saying this is canon) rory sometimes still cant believe that he actually GOT the girl #rory is like any other person: insecure #and i think his biggest insecurity which is the fact that amy stops loving him is exactly what makes him act this way #he truly BELIEVES that he loves amy more than amy loves him because rory thinks that amy is too good for him and why would amy settle for… #him? #the magnificent amy pond the woman who survived #why would she love rory so much when he’s nothing special? #that’s what rory thinks and i think it’s a perfectly done thing #because trust me i can PERFECTLY identify with not thinking you’re good enough for someone and believing that you’ll always care for them… #more than they care about you #no matter how much you want to believe them and trust their word #a part of you will always think that you’re not worthy of their love #and that’s why i dont think that rory thinks amy doesnt deserve him #HE thinks he doesn’t deserve HER
